Comer To Visit all 35 First District Counties in a Week
Tompkinsville, KY— James R. Comer, the Republican Nominee for the vacant First Congressional District Seat, is set to begin a 35 County “Boots and Jeans Tour” campaign swing through every county in the First Congressional District. “My goal in this campaign tour is to show the voters that I care about their community, and to demonstrate that I am the type of leader with a strong work ethic who will listen and represent their needs in Washington,” Comer stated.
The tour begins in Cadiz on Friday, October 21 and ends in Murray onSaturday, October 29. The First Congressional District stretches from Liberty in Casey County in the east to the Mississippi River in Fulton County, and from Henderson County all the way to Albany in Clinton County. It is one of the largest districts per square miles in the entire U.S. Congress. Below is a list of each stop with a time and location:
