KY District 2 Senator Danny Carroll is bringing the Senate majority caucus members to Paducah this week as they prepare for the 2017 legislative session. According to today’s Paducah Sun Senate President Robert Stivers will address the Paducah Rotary at noon Wednesday. After the Rotary meeting caucus members will tour the Paducah’s river industry.
Additional presentations will be given at the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce to highlight activities in surrounding counties that also compose Senate District 2. Meetings will continue Thursday and Friday to discuss the 2017 legislative session.
Senator Carroll says “For my district, it’s important for my colleagues to come to Paducah to see first-hand things that we have going on here. It’s all about connections, networking and allowing members within our community to have some direct access to Senate leadership and the majority caucus to develop further relationships. I’m very proud of my district and western Kentucky and think we have a bright future. It’s crucial that our caucus get a glimpse of the potential we have.”
